The Butler Table Tennis Club plays on Monday nights starting at approximately 5:30 PM

We use the outside steps to the second floor beside the back entrance to the restaurant.

Club fees are the following:

Visitors are free to come and play the first 3 times at no charge.

After the initial 3 free visits, our club has a $3.00/night fee.

Our current play structure is open play with the winner of each match remaining on the table. We are currently working on setting up a club rating system.

We have two Butterly tables in use and will hopefully purchase additional tables as our club grows and funds become available.

The floor is wood and there is fluorescent lighting.

There is a USATT non-affiliated club located at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) Klein Branch located in the Northeast area of the city. I have copied and pasted the info. following this text. Directions:


From the north (of Philadelphia) going south on Rte. 1 (Roosevelt Blvd.), take Roosevelt Blvd. south to Red Lion Rd.(about 10,000 north). Make a right turn (going west) onto Red Lion Rd. getting into the rightmost lane. The first light you come to should be Haldeman Ave. where there will be a Wendy’s Hamburgers on your left . The next light should be Jamison Ave. where there is a B.J.’s Wholesale Club on your left. Make a right turn onto Jamison Ave. to the 2nd building on your left.Make a left turn onto the 2nd driveway going to the parking lot on the other side of the building. When you enter the building, go to the end of that long hallway to the main desk and ask one of the receptionists where the table tennis club is meeting for that day (the locations within the building change daily). When you reach the club room(s), ask for Boris Goldenberg, the club operator and coach. The daily playing fee is $ 5.00 or $ 4.00 if you are a current member of the JCC.

If Boris is not present that day, ask for Yefim or sometimes Dennis who will collect the money in Boris' absence.


Coming from the south, take Roosevelt Blvd. north in the middle (express) lanes and make a left onto Red Lion Rd. and follow directions above.


From the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, you are traveling on Levick St. going west. When you reach Harbison Ave., make a right turn onto Harbison Ave. to Roosevelt Boulevard (Route 1). Make a right turn going north into the middle (express) lanes. You should be at about 6800 North. Continue going north on Roosevelt Boulevard…see the directions “coming from the south” above.
